Come and work out with us for 60 minutes of muscular strength and endurance, cardio vascular strength and endurance and flexibility in our small group training sessions. Each session will have no more than 8 clients moving from station to station performing exercises for 2 minutes. This program is designed to give the individual modifications to safely perform the exercises while getting the maximum out of each and every session.

Cross-Training at Inner Strength-
Inner Strength Studios' personal training programs are different from all others. Our cross training yoga-based approach is holistic, intuitive, and individualized. In each session, we will work together to open and strengthen your body. Personal Cross Training at Inner Strength Studios combines both Eastern and Western approaches to fitness to take you on a journey into optimal strength and conditioning. We also offer conventional personal training sessions. Did you know that your personal training sessions will enhance your strength, balance, coordination, stability and understanding on the mat? We encourage our clients to lay a foundation of basic Yoga principles of breathing, balance, coordination, flexibility, and body awareness by taking our Yoga classes. We build on this foundation with conventional methods of exercise including strength training and cardiovascular conditioning. In each one of our sessions we cover all the elements prescribed by the American College of Sports Medicine and much more including:
- Cardiovascular strength and endurance
- Muscular Strength and endurance
- Body Composition (Lean body mass: body fat)

Inner Strength Certified Personal Trainers have extensive experience in Yoga asana, cardiovascular fitness, exercise physiology, and anatomy as well as knowledge of common physical problems including back, shoulder, knee, and hip pains. We work together with clients listening and communicating to create the most effective modern methods of conditioning to help them along their journey. Personal Training sessions can be a valuable tool for those who are just starting out on their wellnes program, those returning from injury, or someone wanting to explore what conventional exercises have to offer. Our personal training programs can stand on its own or provide an excellent supplement to our Yoga offerings. Sessions are by appointment.
Often, people come to Inner Strength with new injuries when they have pushed themselves too hard or old injuries that have never healed correctly. Our priority is SAFETY for the client. With our team of trainers Inner Strength Studios will coach you allowing for a safe and progressive return to optimal physical health.
An NSCA Certified Personal Trainer, (National Strength and Conditioning Association), Darren focuses on custom training programs for all levels of conditioning. Darren has turned his passion for fitness into a career helping clients reach their goals while staying motivated. Darren holds Nutrition Specialist certification through the AASDN (American Academy of Sports Dietitians and Nutritionists). This allows him to assist clients on improving their health through nutritional education. Also certified by BTS (Body Training System) as a group ride instructor. Darren currently teaches spin class weekly at a local gym.
Fitness is a way of life for Darren. At 40, Darren is an avid hockey player and intense competitor and remains committed to helping clients exceed their expectations with the same intensity. Darren enjoys ice hockey, roller blading and yoga. Darren holds current CPR and AED certification.
